Lorem Ipsum is a simple demo text for the print and type industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry standard demo text since the 1500s, when an unknown writer took a handful of words and jumbled them together to create a pattern book.
Not only has it survived 5 centuries, but it has also made it into electronic writing (note, almost unchanged).
It became known in 1960, with the publication of "Letraset", which contained passages from Lorem Ipsum, as well as desktop software such as "Aldus PageMaker" - also with Lorem Ipsum.
